There are places of longing that retain their magic for a lifetime and remain places of inspiration. Monte Verità in Ascona is such a place for me. We used to spend our family vacations here every year. I still have vivid memories of how Harry, the head waiter, gave me and my sister wonderful moments by chatting with us so kindly and amusingly at the table. Perhaps because of these carefree experiences, I knew as a little girl that I wanted to run a hotel one day.
And that's what I ended up doing. It was not least this wonderful time as General Manager of the Hotel am Steinplatz, Autograph Collection in Berlin that contributed to my conviction that the hotel business is the best business in the world.

- Trained as a trainer and business coach.
- Studied business administration with a focus on hospitality and tourism at the International School of Hospitality Management.
